Heisanharju is a nature reserve area in Jaala.
Easy accessible with a car and a nice ~3 km trail to walk in a forest area.

The parking place was empty when we arrived…

All in all we only saw one bike-packer at the hut, camping with their own tent and a one older couple that passed us when we were walking back to the car at the next morning.

We took the longer route counterclockwise to the huts.

The path was easy to walk and to follow…

Marked with red straps around the trees.

Weather was also very nice.

The camping site had one open hut with a fire place…

Inside was cozy and included wide benches for sleeping.

And another hut that one can rent for use. The well provided fresh and clean water for everyone.

Some places to sit and a table and a pier with ladders for swimming.

Backpack waiting…

Let’s cook some food…

Preparing some mushrooms with Koskenlaskija cheese.

And veggies for the grill.

Add some spices for the veggies.

And some chicken-bacon.

Looking good… Ready to be consumed. ❤

The Sunset outside at the lake.

Slept quite ok in the hut, even tho it was a bit smoky and maybe had some issues with moisture, as it did rain during the night and the roof leaked a bit from the top, next to the chimney.
Morning things and a pot of tea in the making.

Breakfast was some chorizo sausages and a sweet rice porridge cup, one with vanilla and another with strawberry jam. – A bit interesting mix, but the sausages were leftover from previous evening and they needed to be eaten.
A very nice one-nighter as I really haven’t have had a chance to go out that much this summer, as I’ve been running around with two jobs and life and stuff. – Finally some couple time and a possibility to go out with my SO. A nice trip with some food was had. – 7/5 ebin, would do it again.
…till next time.
