A quick update about the gear…

I wanted to make my camp cooking set more compact and after doing some googling I came up with this set-up from the Big Blue Store.

The weight could be more ultra-light, but it’s decent now and basically everything fits inside of each other, so at least I save some space, as I don’t need separate pouches for different things…

So behold my latest contraption:

Burner, gas bottle, pots and a wind guard in a single pouch.

The pot set is 0,9 liters and 0,5 liters…

And the 300 g gas bottle with the burner fits nicely inside of this marvelous contraption.

The pot set weights 240 g, the burner weights 246 g and the wind guard 110 g, so we are totaling around 596 grams plus the gas bottle. – Not the lightest, but I’d say decently compact setup for my adventures and needs.

Wanna save a few more grams?

– Go get PocketRocket from MSR or similar, weight of the burner drops from 246 g to 75 g. 🙂

The Big Blue Store sells similar at 90 grams…

… I might get those upgrades later also, but as I already had the burner mentioned above and it fits into my new pot set, I’ll go with this setup for now.
