Canoeing in Repovesi national park

Spent a nice summer day canoeing in Repovesi national park.

Parked the car at the Lapinsalmi parking and started the trip from the shore. The canoe was easy to rent online. Got the pin codes for the shack and collected the gear needed and hauled them about 200 meters to the shore.

First part was to paddle from the Lapinsalmi to Kuutinkanava, look around and have a short break at the beach.

Second leg was from Kuutinkanava to Mustavuori, were some snacks and food was consumed.

And then back to Lapinniemi.

Each part was little over 3 kilometers and with nice weather and about no wind it took maybe like a half an hour to paddle per each leg.

There were some other people also around, as the Repovesi is a quite popular destination for paddlers, hikers and campers.

Quite interesting trip in over all and was nice to be back on the water after a long time since the last time I was canoeing.

Not much pics were taken, as I stuffed my phone deep into my pockets in a non-transparent waterproof zip bag, and was way too lazy to pull it out to take some pics.
