Was just driving around in a beautiful sun set with near polar night lights and colors in the sky. Nice and some what rare sight in the Central Finland, as it has been very cloudy and dark for the last month or so. Seeing a clear blue sky and the hues was mesmerizing. – Also knowing that I might have been in the North, but I was not, this sight gave some comfort.

Also the snow fell very late this winter, so it’s been very dark, as there has not been snow around to reflect that little light that the Sun, the Moon and the stars could provide. Add the clouds and you get that gloomy darkness of long autumn.

Both pictures are taken around 15.15 (3.15 PM) and as you can see, the Sun is already going down…

Now as the ski centers are finally opening the hills I might go out with my board more often.
