As everyone who has had anything to do with camper vans, tiny houses or van-life, etc. knows: storage space is always a problem.
Mökkönen came with quite a little of a storage space readily built. So one has to make some to get some.
Again a visit to a local blue hardware/general store and got myself some wall brackets and two shelves. The larger and longer one I had to cut into a length at my own workshop.
…and damn I’ll tell you that it was not an easy task to accomplish.

Even tho I did set-up a jig, the blade of the saw didn’t cut straight and I ended up with a mixture of emotions, consisting of aggression, disappointment, rage and self-loath.

Nope. It is not a straight line…
Back to basics. Reset the jig and re-do the cut with a hand saw.
(…never trust the machines, they always fail you at the end!)

Some finishing touches with a hand plane and some sandpaper.

The length looks good…

…but still need to cut some holes for the brackets so the shelve will fit nicely against the wall.

And done:

Need to adjust the position and the length of the smaller shelve later. But as so far, looks good and gives so much more storage space for the tiny house on wheels.
