Today, Sunday 7th of September, happened the total eclipse of the Moon. The weather was a bit rainy and almost totally clouded. So really not an optimal weather conditions to see celestial phenomena. Also a thunderstorm just passed by about an hour or so before the moon rise.

Drove to the top of the local ski center hill and walked around some. I wasn’t the only one in there, but clouds were impenetrable.

Took only one pic with my cell phone. Didn’t even get my camera or tripod.

Later heard that about an hour later the clouds gave away and some last moments of the eclipse were visible in Jyväskylä area.
