Got my hands on a older mtb that needed some care and love. Took it apart, cleaned it up, changed some parts and fixed it back together and took it for a ride.

Haven’t ridden trails for years as I haven’t had anyone to ride with me, but that is about to change, so picked up a bike again and took it out into the woods.

The location was Legendojen Lenkki in Laajavuori Jyväskylä. I knwn that I was in quite bad shape for not riding for couple years, so I took it slowly. And as I expected the 12 mk trail was too much for me so I cut the trail short and took a shortcut back to the Laajis ski/sport center after I had had enough.

Distance ridden was about 7 kms and the whole trail is about 12km.

Took a break at the lavvu at the bottom of the Takarinne and rode back via the ski trails. I think that the the part that I skipped was also the more technical part of the trail. But the experience was still all fun and games.

A decent start – need to go out again soon. I still have couple months before the snow comes in December or so. 🙂
