Fourth time completed in a mild temperature of about +25°C on a cloudy day.

…actually that feels almost cold now, especially in a shadowy area, after it’s been way over +30°C, daytime here in Middle-Finland for the last two weeks or so.

My statics tell me, that I’m making faster and faster times around the lake, even thou I’m not competing against anything, nor trying beat my last time on purpose.

When I started this project last March my average speed was about 10 km/h and time spent biking around the lake was about 1h 10 min. Now in June my average speed was about 15 km/h and time spent was around 47 min.

So, four laps completed so-far and four videos recorded. Few more to go until snow falls and then I’ll see if I want to continue this project over to next year.

Rantaraitti (tripadvisor), (wikipedia.fi), (visitjyvaskyla) is a 12,5 km long paved road that circles the lake Jyväsjärvi in Jyväskylä, Finland.

My goal is to drive the Rantaraitti once per month, till the winter comes and to record a video every-time I do a lap. Then at the end of the year I should able to make a combined video, where one can see the change of the seasons, while I drive around the lake.
