So I biked my way to the local Biltema today and got myself a shiny new trailer for my ride.

I took a set of tools with me and thought that I’ll just assemble the trailer there and hook it on to my bike and ride it back to my place. Simple beans.

The problem suddenly presented itself as I had opened the bolt on the back axle. I realized that the rear wheel fork expanded outwards a couple of cm and I just didn’t have the strength to push it back in to get the bolt back  into it’s place.

Few moments of frustration passed over me, as I tried to wrestle the problem, but then I had a revelation and saw the light (in a form of a huge Biltema sign above me).

So I stepped back in to the shop and spent 3 euros to buy a bar clamp and used it to squeeze the fork and got the bolt back on the back axle with the trailer attachment in place.

So now I have a trailer and new adventures to come. Stay tuned.
