Warm spring days, what an excuse to take the bike out for some cruising.

Rode around the Viitaniemi cape, a nice outdoors area just a 10 min walk away from the city center. Large grass fields, swimming beach and a possibility to take a boat ride to the family friendly Lehtisaari on summer days for some grill, sauna and games.

From Viitaniemi I continued around the lake Tuomio towards Laajavuori ski center that can be seen in the background of the picture I posted.

Almost all the snow has already melted, but as can be seen, lakes are still mostly covered with ice, thou dangerously thin to even be considered to be walked on or over.

Panniers and the rack seem to work fine, even thou I did some mad science to install the rack. And the front pouch holds a 0,5 l bottle just nicely.
