Today I go Sallaajärvi trail.

You should find it from 62°12’16.4″N 25°36’30.1″E.

It is old-growth forest.

It is long way to walk but you can take bike from Jyväskylä.

You can borrow electric bike or cargo bike free from Jyväskylä here (JAPA).

I pack my camera and backpack for trip.

On my way I stop to take drink water from spring.

Finland have many spring with clean water.

This spring is also regulated by health officials. They inspect water quality regularly.

I walk the trail counter clockwise.

Forest is nice and quiet. I see four other people in there.

First part I hear crow bird. Near end of trail I hear Cuckoo bird.

You can find and eat some Oxalis Acetosella (ketunleipä).

There is also two streams. I see frogs in another.

Picnic place is poor shape and one bench. No campfire place and no laavu in here.

Big storm fell many trees few years back. Nature reserve area so leave them to molder and decay.

Almost all snow is melted and warm day +15°C. I need no jacket, hoodie is ok.

I see first mosquito this summer. Mosquito try to eat my blood. Not many yet, but many of them really annoying later summer.

I wear rubber boots but trail is dry. I walk also on swamp and moss also I get not wet foot is nice.
